How should we dress for our session?
Wear what makes you feel comfortable and confident! Typically I would suggest dressing in warm neutral colors as they tend to work best with the camera, the light and the editing. I also offer a Pinterest inspo board for outfits as well! For my couples and families whether that be engagements, "just because" sessions, maternity sessions, etc your outfits don't necessarily have to match but making sure they work together and compliment each other will result in more cohesive photos!
How do I book a photography session with you?
Booking your session is easy—just reach out through my website’s contact form and share what type of session you’re interested in. Once I receive your inquiry, I’ll guide you through the next steps!
Can we choose the location for our photo shoot?
Absolutely! Your location shapes the mood, style, and personal touch of your photos. You’re welcome to choose a spot from my location guide or share a location you already love. My goal is to photograph you somewhere that feels meaningful and beautiful to you.
What is your turnaround time?
Depending on the session you book and my workload for that month my turnaround time is anywhere from two to three weeks. I know you're excited to receive your photos and I'm excited to deliver them so I work as quickly as possible to make sure that happens!
How does payment work?
After we’ve confirmed your date and package, I’ll send the total amount for your session. I accept most cash apps (just ask!) as well as checks.
To note:
A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date and is applied toward your total. The remaining balance is due 7 days before your session or event. Payment plans are available—just let me know what works best for you. In the event of cancellation by the client, the retainer cannot be refunded.
What happens if the weather is unfavorable on the day of an outdoor shoot?
If the weather isn't cooperating on the day of your session, don't worry! We can easily reschedule or choose an indoor spot instead. I'll stay in contact with you through your Grace Funk Photos experience to make sure that you have photos you love!
